Straordinaria

Visualizing the flow of invisible elements such as air and heat
The installation showcased in the courtyard of Palazzo Litta, a representative example of Lombard Baroque architecture in Milan, embodies the product philosophy of Elica, an Italian kitchen brand. Elica’s new product, LHOV, revolutionizes the kitchen experience by integrating an oven, hob, and hood into one, creating a pleasant flow of air and heat that reshapes how we connect with cooking. Inspired by the delicate “clouds” formed by the collision of warm and cold air, the installation features approximately 1,300 semi-transparent mesh fabric tubes, partially tinged with soft colors, suspended from the ceiling. This creates a three-dimensional flow of colors reminiscent of “air” and “heat.” As the wind passes through the courtyard, the tubes gently sway, providing an immersive experience that feels like walking through the clouds.
