we+ SIGG Bottle

In collaboration with Swiss bottle manufacturer SIGG, we+ created a bottle design that incorporated a thermal sensitive surface generating visual transformations when activated. SIGG specializes in reusable aluminum water bottles with a global statement focussed on quality and eco-friendliness. we+ created three visuals that reflected the natural environment: earth, ocean and land. The graphics were printed on the bottle’s surface with a high thermal conductivity. When liquid was poured into the bottle, it activated a reaction dependent on temperature, revealing blue and green graphics on the surface. By visualizing the invisible fluctuations of nature in an interactive relationship with users, we+ aims to explore new forms of expression and product possibilities in which nature and man-made are intimately related.
